Spirax Sarco TD62LM and TD62M Thermodynamic Steam Traps

Spirax Sarco TD62LM Thermodynamic Steam Traps and TD62M Thermodynamic Steam Traps are maintainable high-pressure steam traps with integral strainers and replaceable seats for quick, easy maintenance. They are designed specifically for main drainage applications up to 62 barg. TD62LM Steam Traps are designed specifically for small condensate loads on superheat as well as main drainage applications. A fitted insulating cover is part of the traps’ standard configuration to prevent the trap from being overly influenced by excessive heat loss when subjected to low outside temperatures, wind, rain etc.

Cooney Brothers is proud to be an authorized distributor of Spirax Sarco, with one of the largest inventories in the country. We provide our customers with a wide range of TD62LM and TD62M Steam Traps, made from Alloy Steel. Both lines are available in ½”, ¾”, and 1” nominal sizes with NPT, socket weld, or ANSI 600 Flanged end connections. These traps all have a maximum operating pressure of 900 PSIG with a maximum allowable temperature of 977°F.

The preferred installation of Spirax Sarco TD62 Steam Traps is on a horizontal pipe with the insulation cap pointing upwards. Full-port isolating valves should be installed upstream and downstream of these traps. TD62 Steam Traps with socket weld or NPT ends are available with pre-installed blowdown valves.
