Spirax Sarco TD120M High Pressure Thermodynamic Steam Traps

Spirax Sarco TD120M High Pressure Thermodynamic Steam Traps with Replaceable Seat use periodic cycling to discharge condensate very near to steam temperature. They are unaffected by waterhammer or superheat. They are designed with forged Alloy Steel bodies, top covers, and bottom covers as well as 304 Stainless Steel strainer screen assemblies and ferrule. They also come with Steel discs, seats, cover studs, and cover nuts as well as cover gaskets and inner seat gaskets made from spirally-wound Stainless Steel with Exfoliated Graphite filler. 

Cooney Brothers is proud to be an authorized distributor of Spirax Sarco, allowing us to provide our customers with a wide range of Spirax TD120M High Pressure Thermo-Dynamic Steam Traps. They are available in ½”, ¾”, and 1” nominal sizes with a maximum operating pressure of 3190 PSIG at saturated steam temperature and a maximum operating temperature of 572°F (300°C). TD120M Steam Traps come standard with Socket Weld ends, but ANSI 1500 Flanged ends are available as well.

The trap is meant to be installed on a horizontal pipeline with the nameplate on top. Full-port isolating valves should be installed upstream and downstream of this trap. The TD120M Thermodynamic Steam Traps should also be disassembled periodically for inspection and cleaning of the strainer screen, disc and seat.
