Spirax Sarco Clean Steam Filter Elements

Filters are an important part of every steam system, making filter elements just as important to these systems since elements act as the essential building blocks for filters. 

Spirax Sarco CSF16 filters are a line of Culinary Steam Filters and Filter Stations specially designed to remove contaminate particles from steam systems in food and beverage plants. CSF16 filter elements ensure the filters’ effectiveness by acting as the part inside the filter that does the actual trapping and removing of contaminants from the fluids or gases that are passing through.

The CSF16 Filter Elements are made from 316L stainless steel just like the rest of the housing. They have an outer core and end cap as well as a seal to ensure minimal leaking and therefore, prevent future damage to the equipment. They are available with NPT and ASME 150 flanged end connections. 

CSF16 filter elements are available as 1 micron and 5 micron. When fitted with a 5 micron element, CSF16 filters are capable of removing 95% of particles 2 microns and larger in size, meeting 3A requirements.
