The Zoeller Model M161 Effluent Pump is a fully automatic, float-operated solution engineered for reliable removal of effluent and groundwater in effluent applications. Featuring a powerful ½ HP motor and white polypropylene float, the M161 cannot become waterlogged, and it is trusted for its consistent, long service life. Equipped with a rugged vortex impeller, the M161 can efficiently pass ¾-inch spherical solids, reducing the risk of clogging and ensuring smooth flow through the pump housing. The impeller’s clearance is precisely engineered to allow water and solids to move freely, minimizing downtime and maximizing reliability. Known as the “Flow-Mate”, the 161-0003 pump uses a solid white polypropylene float that will never absorb water, ensuring long-term buoyancy and accurate pump activation for worry-free automatic performance. Built to withstand harsh conditions, the motor housing, pump housing, and base are constructed from heavy-duty cast iron, while external components such as the identification tag, handle, and hardware are made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
