DESCRIPTION
Zoeller® Submersible Effluent Pump, Single Seal, Series: High Head Flow-Mate 160, 100 gpm Maximum, Non-Automatic, 1-1/2 in NPT Outlet, 56 ft Maximum Head, 1/2 hp, 115 VAC, 15.5 A, 60 Hz Frequency, 1 ph, 3450 rpm Motor, 3-Wire Neoprene Cord, Bronze Non-Clogging Vortex Impeller, 130 deg F, Ball Bearing, Cast Iron, 12-3/4 in W x 19-5/16 in H Dimensions
Effluent or dewatering submersible pumps for septic tanks, low pressure pipe (LPP) and enhanced flow STEP systems.
The Zoeller Model N161 Effluent Pump is a nonautomatic solution engineered to remove effluent or ground water in septic or effluent applications. Featuring a powerful ½ HP motor, the N161 is a proven pump trusted for its consistency and service life. Equipped with a rugged vortex impeller, the N161 "Flow-Mate" can efficiently pass ¾-inch spherical solids, reducing the risk of clogging and ensuring smooth flow through the pump housing. The impeller’s clearance is precisely engineered to allow water and solids to move freely, minimizing downtime and maximizing reliability. Due to its nonautomatic functionality, the 161-0002 pump requires either a piggyback float switch or control panel for operation. These options allow field adjustment of on/off points, making the pump especially well-suited for deep sump pits or pump tanks where precise control is critical. Built to withstand harsh conditions, the motor housing, pump housing, and base are constructed from heavy-duty cast iron, while external components such as the identification tag, handle, and hardware are made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel. This robust construction delivers lasting durability, even in the toughest effluent applications. Every Model N161 is fully submerged and tested to its published performance curve prior to shipment, providing confidence that it will perform exactly as expected, straight out of the box.
