Spirax Sarco FIG 34 Y-Strainers

The Spirax Sarco FIG 34 Y-Strainer is an integrally flanged, y-shaped steam strainer that is designed to remove rust, scale and other debris from the pipeline. It is a high-efficiency steam component for better quality, contamination-free steam in a variety of applications. Spirax Sarco FIG 34 Wye Strainers come in ANSI Class 150 with a maximum saturated steam pressure of 190 PSIG and ANSI Class 300 with a maximum saturated steam pressure of 435 PSIG. The maximum operating temperature for these strainers is 749.8°F.

These Carbon Steel y-strainers are available from ½” to 8” in nominal size with ANSI 150 and ANSI 300 Flanged connections. Spirax Sarco FIG-34 Series Y-Stainers are made with Stainless Steel screens where 1/8” and 1/32” are the standard screen configurations, but they are also available with #100 screens. They are also designed with forged or Carbon Steel caps, Carbon Steel bolts, and reinforced exfoliated Graphite cap gaskets.

We offer spare parts for Spirax FIG 34 Y Strainers such as replacement cap gaskets, replacement screens, replacement non-standard screens, and more pipe strainer accessories. These strainers must be installed in the direction of flow as indicated on the strainer body. The pocket should point downwards for liquid systems, and it should be in the horizontal plane for applications involving steam or gases.
