Kunkle Model 215V Vacuum Relief Valves

Kunkle Model 215V Vacuum Relief Valves are non-code, vacuum air relief valves, made with a Cast Iron body, corrosion preventative coating, and seal cap for vacuum services. Their standard trim consists of a Bronze nozzle and disc where the pivot between the disc and the spring corrects misalignment and compensates for spring side thrust. These valves have a large nozzle design that provides high-capacity capabilities and their flat valve seats are lapped for optimum performance.

We provide our customers with a wide range of Model 215V Vacuum Relief Valves, available in 2" x 2", 2-1/2" x 2-1/2", and 3" x 3" nominal sizes. They are made with MNPT x FNPT (inlet x outlet) end connections as well as a Stainless Steel spring, NPT drainplug, and a warn ring that offers easily-adjustable, precise opening with minimum pre-open or simmer. The set vacuum range is available from 2" Hg to 15" Hg and the allowable temperature ranges from -20° to 406°F. BSPT end connections and additional vacuum ranges may be available upon request. 

The name of each 215V Vacuum Relief Valve includes letters from H, J, and K to indicate the inlet size of the valve. This product line includes:

• Kunkle 215VJ01 Cast Iron Vacuum Relief Valves (2-/12" inlet size)
• Kunkle 215VK01 Cast Iron Vacuum Relief Valves (3" inlet size)

Model 215V Vacuum Valves have seal caps for vacuum services, and they are used for the protection of high-volume vacuum pumps, conveying systems and light gauge tanks. These Cast Iron Vacuum Relief Valves are tested and inspected for pressure settings and leakage.
