American Valve 4000D Flanged Ball Valves

The American 4000D series ball valves feature an A536 grade 65-45-12 ductile iron body, flanged end connections, and reinforced PTFE seats. The stainless steel stem is blow-out proof. Face-to-face and flanged dimensions conform to ANSI Standard B16.10 which exactly match end to end dimensions of all cast iron gate valves and plug valves. American Valve 4000D ball valves are available in sizes 2" though 10", however it is only full port up to 6". The handle is lockable in both full open and full closed positions, and an ISO mounting pad is available for easy actuation.  

One unique feature is the corrosion-resistant PFA fused solid ball, which inhibits buildup of lime, calcium, sludge, preventing premature failure of valve seats. The American 4000D series valves can last up to 10x longer due to the PFA-coating, which is actually impregnated into the solid metal, meaning it won't chip, wear or flake off. The lubricity of the PFA-fused ball allows for lower torque ratings in any application, eliminating ball pitting and stopping premature valve failure.
