The Kunkle 6252 Safety Relief Valve is a heavy-duty, high-quality Cast Iron valve with an enclosed Steel spring and a Stainless Steel semi-nozzle, disc, and trim. These valves are suitable for a diverse array of steam, air, or gas equipment, including steam boilers, generators, pressure reducing stations, air/gas compressors, and pressure vessels such as tanks, receivers, intercoolers, oil/gas separators and lines.

They offer ANSI 250 Flanged x ANSI 125 Flanged, ANSI 250 Flanged x FNPT, or FNPT x FNPT (inlet x outlet) end connections to seamlessly integrate into various systems. Their set pressures range from 10 PSIG to 250 SPIG and their maximum temperatures range from -20°F to 406°F. The robust design of these Cast Iron Safety Relief Valves features a Stainless Steel trim with an EPDM O-Ring as well as a bolted bonnet for easy maintenance, lapped seats for optimal sealing and flatness, and dual control rings for precise adjustability and blowdown control. Their heavy-duty lift lever assembly ensures smooth operation with factory-sealed adjustments to prevent tampering or disassembly.
Following the model number, there are three letters in the name of every 6252 Safety Relief Valve. The first letter (A, F, and K) represents the three available connection types; FNPT, flanged or combination ends. The second letter (J, K, L, M, N P, Q, and R) represents the orifice. The third letter (G, H, J, K, M, and P) represents the inlet size. By inlet size, this product line includes:
