Kunkle Model 337 Safety Relief Valves

Kunkle Model 337 Safety Relief Valves are air/gas non-code or ASME Section VIII & XIII vacuum relief valves, made with a Cast Iron body and corrosion preventative coating. The standard trim includes a Bronze nozzle and disc. Their large nozzle design provides high capacity capabilities and the pivot between this disc and spring corrects misalignment and compensates for spring side thrust. 

Cooney Brothers is proud to be an authorized distributor of Kunkle Safety Relief Valves, which allows us to offer our customers a wide selection of Model 337 Safety Relief Valves. They feature a Cast Iron body, Stainless Steel spring, and NPT drainplug as well as top-performing Bronze lapped seats and a warn ring that offers easily-adjustable, precise opening with minimum pre-open or simmer. They are available in 2" x 2", 2-1/2" x 2-1/2", and 3" x 3" nominal sizes with MNPT x FNPT (inlet x outlet) end connections. The set pressure range is available from 5 PSIG to 60 PSIG and the allowable temperature ranges from -20° to 406°F. BSPT end connections and additional pressure ranges may be available upon request. 

The name of each 337 Safety Valve includes letters from H, J, and K to indicate the inlet size of the valve. This product line includes:

• Kunkle 0337J01 Cast Iron Safety Relief Valves (2-/12" inlet size)
• Kunkle 0337K01 Cast Iron Safety Relief Valves (3" inlet size)

Model 337 Relief Valves are used for the protection of low to medium pressure high volume blowers, compressors, conveying systems and bulk hauling trailers/equipment. These Cast Iron Safety Relief Valves feature a 'lift-pin' lift device for easy manual testing, and they are tested and inspected for leakage and pressure settings.
