Kunkle Model 20 Safety Relief Valves

Kunkle Model 20 Safety Relief Valves are extra-heavy, non-code, liquid relief valves, made with a rugged Bronze construction and a pressure-tight cap. These side outlet type valves feature a 316 Stainless Steel spring for optimal corrosion resistance and lapped beveled seats for the best possible performance. A spherical pivot between the disc and the spring corrects misalignment and compensates for spring side thrust. 

Cooney Brothers is proud to be an authorized distributor of Kunkle Safety Relief Valves. We provide our customers with a wide range of Model 20 Safety Relief Valves, made with a Bronze body, PTFE o-ring, and a Bronze/Brass trim. They are available from ½" x ½" to 3" x 3" in nominal size with MNPT x FNPT (inlet x outlet) end connections. Flanged end connections may be available upon request. The set pressure ranges from 15 PSIG to 300 PSIG and the allowable temperature ranges from -60°F up to 406°F. 

The name of each Model 20 valve includes a letter from C to H that indicates the inlet size of the valve. This product line includes:

Kunkle Model 20 Safety Valves can be used for overpressure relief, pressure regulation, continuous by-pass relief, and protection of pumps, tanks, lines and hydraulic systems. The inlet and outlet connections are integrally cast with the body for easy inspection and servicing without disconnecting the piping. These Bronze Safety Relief Valves are tested and inspected for pressure setting and leakage.
