Gruvlok FIG 7046 Clamp-T with Grooved Branch Outlet

The Gruvlok 7046 Clamp-T with Grooved Branch Outlet provides optimal flow characteristics for light wall or standard wall steel pipe at a maximum of 500 PSI working pressure. This Gruvlok Clamp-T line uses a grooved-end branch or cross connection while the other Clamp-T line, 7045 Clamp-Ts, use female-threaded connections. They are available in Traditional Bolt styles with Grade 5 Steel Zinc Electroplated Bolts and in U-Bolt styles with Cold Drawn Steel Zinc Electroplated U-Bolt. 

Cooney Brothers is proud to distribute this FIG 7046 Clamp-T with Grooved Branch, made from Ductile Iron with hot-dipped zinc galvanized or rust-inhibiting orange painted coatings. They are available between 2-1/2” x 1-1/4” to 8” x 4” in size.

All it takes to assemble is a hole drilled or cut in the pipe to receive the locating collar of the Clamp-T.

The EPDM or Nitrile Gasket provides a leak tight seal in positive pressure and vacuum conditions. The Grooved Branch Clamp-Ts with Grade “E” EPDM gaskets are not recommended for petroleum applications, but they are intended for use with water service, diluted acids, alkalies solutions, oil-free air and many other chemical services. The Gruvlok FIG 7046 Gruvlok Clamp-T with Grade “T’ Nitrile Gaskets are recommended for petroleum applications, and they are also intended for use with air using oil vapor and vegetable and mineral oils, but they are not intended for hot water or hot air applications.
