Cart Approval Video


Since General Users are not permitted to checkout on the website, to make a purchase they must submit their cart for approval. Watch the video to learn how to approve their carts.

Hello and welcome to the Cooney Brothers How To Video Series. In this video, we will cover how to approve carts on the website.

General Users are not permitted to checkout on the website. To make a purchase, they must submit their carts to their designated Cart Approver. That user can be an Administrative User or an Authorized Purchasing Agent, however only an Administrative User can assign the Cart Approver for each General User.

When a General User submits a cart for approval, their designed Cart Approver will receive an email notice. After logging in, the Approving Purchasing Agent or Admin User can navigate to the Approval Cart List found under the My Account Menu. Once on this page, the user can select a cart from a bulleted list of carts awaiting approval.

On the cart page, Approving Users have several options from which to choose:
 - They can Approve the cart as is, selecting all items.
 -  They can choose to order a few of the items requested.
 -  They can Update quantities, by changing the total, selecting the line, and hitting the Update Selected Items button.
 -  Or they can Reject the cart as a whole. After hitting the Reject Cart buttons, users will be prompted to provide a reason, which will be emailed to the General User.

When you are ready to check out, hit the approve cart button, and you will be taken directly to the first step of the checkout process.

After completion, your Approved Item(s) or Cart will be removed from your Cart Approval page. Any unapproved items will remain until ordered or rejected.
