Gruvlok FIG 616 Reducing Couplings

The Gruvlok FIG 616 Reducing Coupling provides an efficient, direct reduction between two different CTS copper tubing sizes and it eliminates the need for a concentric reducer and couplings. The specially designed rubber EPDM Gasket prevents the smaller tube from telescoping into the larger tube during vertical installation. These pipe fittings are rated up to 300 PSI in working pressure.

Cooney Brothers is proud to offer our customers a variety of FIG 616 Reducing Couplings. Their epoxy Copper coated Ductile Iron housing helps eliminate galvanic local cell and stray current problems. They are made with CTS ends and are available from 2-1/2” to 6” x 4” in size. 

Especially because of their Tri-Seal Grade “EN” EPDM Gasket, 616 Couplings are designed for use with water service, diluted acids, alkalies solutions, oil-free air and many other chemical services, but not for use in petroleum applications.
